How To Take Care Of Asian Skin Tones
Asian skin tones are unlike any other ethnic groups. If you belong to one of these nationalities Indian, Filipinos, Korean, Chinese or Japanese your skin will have fewer pores and yellow undertones. Asian skin is sensitive and hence more prone to irritation and other skin conditions such as hyper pigmentation, freckles and age spots.
Because Asian skin can be quite sensitive it is really important to take care of this skin everyday to minimize the presence of age spots, uneven skin tone, freckles and other skin problems that can trouble this skin.
As I said before taking care of Asian skin is very important to maintain it healthy. Exfoliation is something that you must incorporate into your skin care regime. It will avoid the skin breaking out frequently and becoming lifeless and blemished. This happens to Asian skin tones if you don’t apply the
adequate skin care .
Since Asian skin contains less pores you must be careful not to apply too much skin care product or oil. Ordinary beauty products have a variety of preservatives and scents, which can irritate the skin. Cosmetics such as these can work fine for other skin tones, but your complexion is more fragile
and you must consider this when choosing cosmetics.
Other characteristic of Asian skin tones is that brown spots will appear earlier than in other skin colours and it will also get darker with time. Is not all bad news as Asian skin will show later the signs of aging skin such as fine lines and wrinkles.
Given these facts you must make sure that you follow an adequate skin care routine. First you must ensure that you clean your skin daily in a proper way. Be careful not to use a cleansing product that is too strong. Use light cosmetics free of fragrances that could irritate the skin. Buy organic products whenever possible. Exfoliation is another step in your skin care regime. Using a mild scrub no more than twice a week will help to get rid of dead cells. Don’t overdo it.
When the skin is well hydrated it looks supple and wrinkles are less obvious that is why moisturizing is another essential step to add to your daily skin care routine. Choose a light moisturizer and keep oils to a minimum especially is your skin is oily. Due to the high temperatures of most Asiatic countries in summer the oil secretion in the skin is greater, that is why Asian complexion looks better in the cooler months.
Wearing sunscreen when out and about is really important as this will ensure that your Asian skin is protected at all times. Sunscreen is an essential protection against fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, uneven skin tone, freckles and so on. If you make the effort of maintaining your skin tone you will end up with the skin you have always dreamed of.

This was an informative article. I thought it was just me that couldn’t use many facial creams, because even the thinnest would irritate my face, so it’s good to know that I’m not.
The only thing I took offense to was that freckles are considered blemishes- a long time pet peeve of mine- as I am half Irish and have had freckles all of my life and do not consider them blemishes.
