Breast Stretch Marks – How To Get Rid Of Them
Not everyone gets breast stretch marks. You may however be one of the many who will eventually develop them. When you notice them for the first time, you may initially feel confused. Seeing them more often may push you to try to get rid of them.
One general cause of stretch marks is rapid skin expansion. Your skin stretches during rapid weight gain or growth during puberty and pregnancy. When the skin stretches, the underlying tissues eventually tear, resulting to purplish streaks on the skin surface which becomes more difficult to erase over time. If left untreated, these purple lines can become silvery, becoming even more unsightly and itchy over time.
There are women who choose to ignore these skin scars. This is only because they may not initially understand the grave consequences of these marks. There are two major reasons why ou should consider getting rid of them.
- Stretch marks can be a source of insecurity among women. At best, you will find yourself embarrassed to wear clothes that can reveal your stretch marks. At worst, you will have second thoughts about getting naked in front of your partner even in the privacy of your room.
- Breast stretch marks can ruin your sense of fashion. Because you do not want them to be seen, you may have to keep away from clothes with low necklines. This is not a problem if you are dressing up for winter. Problems may arise if you have to put on a sexy gown for an event or a bikini for a day on the beach.
If there is any consolation for having stretch marks, it is that you can do something to get rid of them.
- Cover up the stretch marks with creams and makeups. Some of these creams and makeups are water resistant. Unfortunately, these concealers can eventually fade. They are only masking solutions and the most it can do is conceal your stretch marks for a few hours.
- You do not want to have to change your wardrobe. You can make concessions though. You do not have to always spend too much time applying makeup so you will look good on a low neckline blouse. You can simply alternate wearing revealing and non revealing clothes.
- You can use nourishing natural ingredients on your marks. These can help strengthen the skin and keep it resistant to the effects of tearing. Some vitamins that are good for the skin are vitamins E, D, A and K. Some natural plant extracts that can be applied on the skin contain these vitamins and other additional nutrients.
Breast stretch marks should not be taken lightly – it is not a joke. They are unflattering scars that can ruin your day. You do not have to live with them though. Pick a good strategy that will work best for you so you do not have to keep on hiding your skin.
