Boy, 8, has ‘sex change’
An eight-year-old boy, Joey Romero, has become a girl called Josie in a remarkable US gender-swap case that features in a new Channel 4 documentary.

Josie was diagnosed as transgender at the age of six.
Her sex has been legally changed and she will undergo surgery and drug treatment to help her grow up as a woman.
Her family, from Arizona, tell their story as part of a new Channel 4 Bodyshock documentary to be shown next week.
Her mother Venessia, 42, said: “As a toddler she wrapped up her army figures and rocked them like a baby.
“As she started to talk, she’d say, ‘I’m a girl’. We used to correct her and say, ‘No you’re a boy’.
“By the time she was four she was insisting, ‘No, I really am a girl’.”
Her father Joseph, an engineer in the United States Air Force, said: “I had mourned the loss of my son. When I came to terms with it, I knew I had gained a daughter.”
The girl has been educated at home in Arizona after the family suffered taunts outside the military base school overseas.
Josie will be given drugs to prevent male adolescence and, at 12, get female hormones.
Her case echoes that of a boy of nine who returned to school as a girl.

So much of this article is just simple garbage. It is sad that people don’t even bother to try to get accurate information before printing such rubbish.

Kim you may want to do your own research. Just fifteen minutes on the web shows this is a true story. Channel four did a documentary called, Bodyshock. In the documentary was the story of Josie.
I find it iteresting that we will allow parents the right to conform children to societies, normanl, projections but if a parent wishs to allow a child to exact a change contrary to, normal, society screams, child rights. When will people realize normal, as majority choice, does not make something right. If most people decided to paint their housed white, it would not make it wrong to live in a pink cave. Difference is needed for all the things in the world to be cared for. Care for what you want and allow others the same as you demand they give you, choice.
