Finding Your Way to Transition – Income Sources

Just like this blog helps to fund my transition, I just finished writing an article on developing multiple streams of income here on the internet. Lets face it, transition is a very hard road for some of us. Besides the emotional issues, relationships, family, friends, and legal issues to wind our way through, we also have to deal with income and employment.

Despite all the other issues, income and employment is a big challenge for most of us going through transition. A lot of transgender people end up homeless or becoming street walkers just to survive. That being said, before and while you are in transition have you thought about other streams of income besides that weekly paycheck from an employer who isn’t handling your decision very well?

There are many ways to make money online now. Yes, doing business via email, blogs, websites and such doesn’t always sound that great for someone in transition. Lets look at the hard truth though, the people you are doing business with online do not know you are in transition, you can play both male and female roles in your business without anyone knowing, and the close minded people out there will still do business with you.

Yeah I know it is a hard blunt way to look at it, but we all know we need income to survive. I don’t like the idea of being homeless or being a street walker just to make ends meet every month. That is why I’m looking for other transgender people to help develop income sources on the net so we don’t have to go in the gutter of society because we don’t have other choices.
