Just Being Me

While I have been posting news on this site. I am finally getting around to posting personal posts like I intended. I started this website on the thought it would be a personal/magazine type site. The site is still finding itself though, my posts to come will probably bring the site on track much faster.

Who am I? A question often asked of me considering I am labeled transgender by society. I am just me, a person who just wants to be accepted for the person I am. While some transgendered people often make being transgender a big issue and throw it out there, I tend to shy away from that and would rather be left unnoticed. Unnoticed for being transgender and noticed for being the writer, artist, chef, music maker, friend, and sensitive person that I am. I do not demand or even ask people to accept me, I just want to make it from point A in life to point B in life in peace.

I am a typical transgender as I came out to myself about my issues in my 30’s. Growing up in the decades that I did, it would have been a lot harder to be who I am, nor was there real information easy to access about what a transgender even was. I just knew I was not happy and different. Coming from a abusive family made life even more difficult since understanding was not a family value.  Now that I am on my way to transition and life as a different gender, I realize now that the world is scared of people like me because I represent an unknown part of society and according to religion I am beyond evil.

I offer this blog as a journal to my transition, but also a news source, advice, tips, tricks, and anything else which might come along to help transgendered like myself and those who seek to understand us. I also invite other transgender people to write guest articles for this blog.

I hope you enjoy my blog.
