Cut-price sex change!

A MIDLAND clinic offering sex change operations for just £1,500 is being investigated by health chiefs.
The cut-price chop is being advertised by Shangri-La & Surgeon Ltd, which is based in an industrial unit in Birmingham’s Chinatown area.
Adverts plastered around the Arcadian Centre under the title “Beatiful You, Beautiful Price” boast that the surgeon is now working with “Tiffany Models” and promises cosmetic surgery everybody can afford.
As well as a full sex change op, the menu of surgery options includes a £1,200 boob job, liposuction for just £890 and buttock implants for £1,281.
Horrified transsexual support groups say the ultra-cheap Birmingham surgery is the lowest-priced operation anywhere in the world, and is half the price of the cheapest surgeries in Thailand.
When the Sunday Mercury tried to contact Shangri-La & Surgeon by phone and e-mail, we were unable to reach them.
Last night, a spokeswoman for private clinic watchdog the Healthcare Commission said: “We are the regulatory body for all healthcare providers, whether independent or NHS, in England.
“Healthcare providers need to register with us by law if they provide a registerable service, including surgery and some laser treatments.
“The Healthcare Commission does not appear to have a record of this establishment and will look into whether it is at this time providing a service which should be registered.”
Around 350 men have sex change operations through the NHS in Britain each year.
In order to undergo the change they are asked to live and work as awoman for a two-year period to ensure they can adjust psychologically to their new life.
The average cost for the procedure at one of the six private clinics that offer sex change surgery in the UK is £10,000, but can rise to £15,000 depending on the individual surgeon.
Last night, sex change support groups criticised the Shangri-La surgery, raising fears that it could harm patients.
Janett Scott, from transgender group The Beaumont Society, said: “The cheapest operations are in Thailand for about £3,000,
“I can’t believe there is somewhere in England offering it for this price. i would be very concerned about the quality of this clinic and the aftercare on offer.
“A lot of people are very depressed and may be desperate enough to go for this cut-price option.
“The thought of a place like this operating in Britain horrifies me.”
The Sunday Mercury made repeated attempts to contact Shangri-La & Surgeon at its premises, by phone and e-mail but nobody responded.

This is really about those {EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE SURGEONS; that very few can really ever afford in the first place, less they hock their lives at one point or the other!!!} So far I have only heard what those filthy rich fat cats that can never allow the public to have a good thing because of::::::::::::::::::::::::: {especially today while the world is being devastated within their own economy’s.
Has anyone ever really considered the possibility of this person’s qualification perhaps? Hmmmmmm?
MaaaaaaaaaaaaBeeeeeeeeee this person has finally created a coooool clue here! Yes while the other fat cats wait for their privately owned bird of prey to bring in their next victim to tear and gouge for more then their private parts, is it possible that this person has figured out a way to not only stay employed but eventually build their practice into another booming business as well.
That’s right I said business, never make the mistake of believing they really care because a clinic or hospitals main concern is get that almighty dollar or pound out of your pockets and feeding their extremely expensive life style!
Eventually this gift of the lower price will go away like it does with all practices. Maybe this person is making it very affordable because they have gotten so fed up with the FILTY RICH making the EXTREMELY POOR even poorer by charging exorbitant prices for operations that only take at most 8 hours to perform plus 3 days and quarterly check ups that you have to pay {in addition} for as well!!!!!!
Hmmmmmm lets see here 15000 by 8hours work, hmmmmmmm doing the math here, aaaaaah haaaaa,,,, hmmmmm aaaaah haaaaa by George I’ve GOTE EEEEIT,,, DRUM ROLE PLEASE DRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRUM, yes if any of you have done the math, you would see that these FAT CAT SERGEONS are making 18 hundred and 75 dollars and hour.? Wheeeeeeeeeew,,,,, how many mouths could that feed in a starving world or translated, how many cars, toys, college Educations {for the RICH mind you,}{House payments on that 5K to 9000 square foot house they own} or vacations to some exotic paradise,,,,, where in the world?
Just going out to dinner at a gourmet restaurant which most will never experience in a life’s time where there are no prices on the menu {but I can tell you first hand because I used to work in one, and no I never got to sit down to any plate} and btw to give an example a Filet Mignon burger could cost as high as one hundred and fifty dollars oh, oh, oh, and of course you get your wish of whatever kind of starch you would like and a garden salad.
Coffee is a moderate 10 dollars a cup with one refill. Milk $7.50 no refill, Alcoholic bev’ between $25.00 and on up according to your wishes or wants!
If you take or invite friends or family to join you, the bill could be as high as 3000 dollars but saying it is just you and your wife or a date could be as low as 320 dollars {saying you go for the burger and fries,} plus a 25-40 % tip, {and of course you never want to appear to be a cheapskate for fear you won’t be appropriately seated on your return visit} so the total is approx $448.00 absoluuuuuuutely nooooooooo problemoooooo because after all they are gouging their very own private customers and really they are footing this bill, aren’t they? No problemo!
Why am I mentioning all this, it should be obvious. IF this person is qualified; this person should be given the chance to start out on their own, set up the practice and is willing to not only help himself but also give back to ALL THOSE WONDERFUL PEOPLE THAT have been suffering for years to obtain their ultimate goals!
If this or these persons are qualified PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT THE FAT CATS ARE WANTING YOU AND ARE OBVIOUSLY LEADING YOU {like the cattle to slaughter as they do all too often} TO BELIEVE! Give the person or this clinic a chance to take off, to prosper because if they are qualified to do these operations, it would benefit hundreds possibly thousands of individuals that have NEVER been able to afford this before and will now be able to now!!!
All the press and they have seen as I have read absolutely NOTHING POSSITIVE coming their way for offering a wonderful deal! HELL I WOULD NEVER want to face a public that first wanted to gouge out my eyes and cut off my hands! So far this has been nothing but a witch hunt and the lynch mob is looking to hang yet another person because they have all been puppetized {my own word, in place of deputized} to go and hang these people WITHOUT proper due course and without being given a chance to voice themselves in an non threatening arena or environment!
